Bob Carr Centre In Orlando
The Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre is located in Orlando, Florida. It is part of the Orlando Centroplex. It was originally built in 1926 as the Orlando Municipal Auditorium. Between 1975 and 1977 it went under a major renovation and was named for former Orlando Mayor Bob Carr. It is home to the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. The center also holds a variety of other events and Broadway shows. In 2012, it will be replaced by the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center.
